Humor was imported in this study as a moderating factor to verify the relationship between emotional labor and job burnout among insurance sales people. Humor was used as the moderating factor to determine whether or not there was in fact such a significant effect. Using the convenient sampling and questionnaire method, data was collected, with 650 respondents as the subjects. A total of 478 valid questionnaires were recovered, accounting for a 73.54% recovery rate. The SPSS18.0 package software was adopted in this study and regression analysis was utilized to verify the assumptions. The results show that emotional labor induced the insurance sales people’s burnout and reduced their job satisfaction. Therefore, emotional labor also reduced the insurance sales people’s job satisfaction due to job burnout. However, the effects of emotional labor on job burnout were moderated by humor. In this paper, the implications of management and suggestions for future research directions were also put forth. Chou, Shao-Kai 周少凱 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 113 zh-TW
