Description
Summary:碩士 === 康寧大學 === 休閒資源暨綠色產業研究所 === 100 === With the prevalence of tourism, people's acceptance of eco-tourism increasing, and it also makes the elementary school teachers teaching long-term in school have the opportunity to combine their own travel experiences to the environmental teaching for students. Therefore, to understand the structure model of the degree of low-carbon life practice and its eco-tourism intention from the role of teachers not only can realize the current situation, to better enhance the quality of environmental protection education. A number of the 433 elementary school teachers in Yunlin county were targeted as research participants and were requested to fill out the questionnaires. The main findings of the research after analyzed are stated as below: 1. The practice on low-carbon life for elementary school teachers can be categorized into four important factors with factor analysis method - “Resource sustainability and recycling”, “Tree planting and regeneration”, “Transportation and carbon reduction” and“ Energy-efficient, water-saving and environmental protection”. 2. The cognition of tourism impact can be categorized into four important factors with factor analysis method -“Ecological and development”, “Economic prosperity and Transportation”, “Culture and Landscape Construction” and “Stratum and social disorder”. 3. The elementary school teachers hold positive attitudes both on the practice on low-carbon life and the cognition of tourism impact, and the degree of personal practice of low-carbon life has a significant effect on eco-tourism behavior intention in the linear regression model. 4. The intention of eco-tourism behavior of elementary school teachers is positive, and its’ variation can be explained up to 49.8% by using the theory of planned behavior. Of the variables, “perceived behavioral control” is the most important factor, followed by “subjective norm”. 5. Significantly higher scores on performance are taken by the teachers who are experienced in the eco-tourism and participated in the workshops of environmental protection studies in all scales. Cross-analysis also illustrates that there’s a strong significant association between them. The findings showed the experiences of environmental protection studies and eco-tourism had significantly positive influence on teachers. 6. By testing the structural equation modeling with AMOS6.0 shows that the goodness-of-fit index(GFI) between the theoretical model and the observing data is quite good in this study. During path analysis of multi-group shows that the influence on the practice on low-carbon life to eco-tourism behavior intention of teachers who are experienced in eco-tourism is significantly higher than those who’s not experienced in eco-tourism.
