Description
Summary:碩士 === 康寧大學 === 應用英語研究所 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between teachers’ teaching behavior, English learning attitudes and learning satisfaction. Moreover, this study also intended to provide a better understanding of the effects of teaching behavior on students’ learning attitudes and learning satisfaction. A questionnaire was applied in this study. There were 345 fourth graders to sixth graders in the two elementary schools in Tainan. The data of the questionnaire were analyzed by one-way ANOVA analysis and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The major findings were as follows: First, there were significant differences between student-centered approach and teacher-centered approach on students’ learning attitudes and learning satisfaction. The student-centered approach was better than the teacher-centered approach on the students’ learning attitudes and learning satisfaction in English class. Second, a high positive correlation was found between students’ learning attitudes and learning satisfaction in English class. It can be said that if students had good learning attitudes, they may enhance their learning satisfaction and become more interested in English class.
