People express emotions and build their confidence through singing. In the recent years, TV program launched singing competition show and make more young people, even children, to devote themselves to singing. Some children enhance their singing skill in KTV (Karaoke TV). However, the KTV Company didn''t specially design the human-computer interface for children. This study focuses on the children characteristic and designs 3 new KTV interfaces for them. The new-designed interfaces include: (1) text with image interface, (2) text with phonetic one, (3) only text one. This study recruited 26 children to perform the usability evaluation test, and using repeat measurement one-way ANOVA to compare with now''s KTV interface analysis the using time and error number times. The result shows that compared with 3 new-designed interfaces, now''s KTV interface spent more time and cause more error number to find a song. The new interface systems’ using time and error number from less to more are: text with image interface, text with phonetic one, only text one, respectively.
