In order to place in the global marketplace, and satisfy the change of consumer demand, innovation has become very important of enterprises respond to market competition. There are many enterprises use their internal resources to achieve the innovation performance, which are also through cooperation with alliance partners to inject new knowledge and technology. Accordingly, this study explores how the innovation performance reached through cooperation with alliance partners and the new knowledge. The research sample was composed of manufacturing industry in Taiwan. This study used questionnaires as the data collecting media. We send out 800 questionnaires and recover 121valid samples. Statistical software was used SPSS19.0, and testing hypothesis with the simple and multiple regression. The empirical results that: (1) alliance network diversity has significant positive influence on dedicated alliance function. (2) dedicated alliance function has significant positive influence on relationship. (3) dedicated alliance function has not significant influence to alliance relationship. (4) alliance relationship has influence on knowledge sharing. (5) knowledge sharing has significant positive influence over innovation performance. (6) alliance network diversity has significant positive influence over innovation performance. This study suggests that when the enterprises get innovation performance through the alliance network, they can use dedicated alliance function as the main mechanism to deal with the business practice as well as knowledge sharing.
