Because they can consolidate and strengthen trade benefits. Due to the special political situation between Taiwan and China, ECFA was been attend from the beginning. Since ECFA has been proposed, there were many negative criticism. So we would like to estimate the impact of Taiwan’s industry by knowing the foreign experience. We separate Taiwan’s industry into three parts, agriculture, financial sector and general industry and try to find out the influence of ECFA on them. By collecting and sorting the data and literature, we found that the volume of trade in agriculture will increase, but also that will be a high risk of large trade deficit. In the financial sector, after signing ECFA, Taiwan will enter the Chinese financial sector more easily than other countries, but the scale of Chinese financial institutions is much bigger than in Taiwan, so we may only serve specific groups of minority customers. In general industries, there are advantages and disadvantages. It should depend on what the industry is. Due to lower import costs, Taiwanese factories may return to Taiwan.
