There are more and more foreign brides from Southeast Asia in Taiwan and the number of the female new inhabitants in Taiwan has exceeded 150,000 up to now. As the government loosens the work restrictions on job application, many female new inhabitants now begin working in order to improve family livelihood. In this study, questionnaire survey and intention sampling were conducted among 243 female new inhabitants who study in the supplement schools in Pingtung Region. Among the 243 questionnaires, there were 36 invalid questionnaires and 207 valid questionnaires. Personality Scale, Life Adjustment Scale and Job Performance Scale were applied as research tools in this study. Descriptive Statistics, Factor Analysis, Pearson Correlation Analysis and Regression Analysis were utilized as data analysis methods to examine and verify the aims of hypotheses of this study and therefore to apprehend the predictability between variables. Some important conclusions are reached in this study. 1. Life Adjustment is distinctly related to and affected by the Openness to Experience Dimension, Conscientiousness Dimension, and Agreeableness Dimension of the female new inhabitants’ personalities. 2. Task Performance is obviously affected by the Family Adjustment Dimension, Society Adjustment Dimension of the female new inhabitants’ life adjustment. 3. Contextual Performance is evidently affected by the Physical Adjustment Dimension and Society Adjustment Dimension of the female new inhabitants’ life adjustment. 4.Task Performance is distinctly affected by the Conscientiousness Dimension of the female new inhabitants’ personalities. 5.Contextual Performance is evidently affected by the Openness to Experience Dimension, Conscientiousness Dimension, and Agreeableness Dimension of the female new inhabitants’ personalities.
