In this project, we try to integrate RFID technologies in a documents management system to solve the following problems: Firstly, how to enhance the automation of flow control? Secondly, how to reduce the humans’ errors? And how to find the target documents from filing cabinets. The aims of this paper include: (1) Improve the efficiency and correctness by integrating RFID technologies and the documents management systems. Because of the integration, the documents information and physical locations can be synchronized, and the human errors can also be reduced. (2) Design and implement an intelligent file cabinet to provide users an efficient file management facility.
