Environmental protection has been more important in the 21st century. Taiwan also started to carry out green policy on buildings. This event gradually brought the concept of environmental protection and green consumer trends. People recognize and adapt the concept of green interior design. The objectives of this study are to establish criteria of green interior design from viewpoint of service providers and consumers, and consequently develop a framework of green interior design utilizing quality function deployment (QFD), to compute proper weights for green interior design criteria via the utilization of voting analytic hierarchy process (VAHP). The findings of this research are as follows: (1) The most important factors in the first stage, ie. service planning are: concept of green decoration materials and construction methods, designing comprehensive ventilation systems, and operators involved in green-related courses. (2) The most important factors in the second stage, ie. element planning are: using the construction of the green concept, choosing materials and construction methods decorated with the green concept, designing adequate space and planning smooth indoor flow. (3) The most important factors in the third stage, ie. operations planning are: regulations for education and training, regulations for interior decoration materials management, and regulations for ecosystem environment management.
