So must be respected design evaluation. This research intends to use Case-Based reasoning to completely imitate develop TFT-LCD mechanism design, will be in past expert experience, to make use of product the initial stage estimate phase, will be able to calculate closest to the target design architecture. In the first stage, the methods of expert interview, thorough understanding「TFT-LCD product design the initial assessment institution of the phase」consideration of the project and its mode of operation, and access to information clustering classified, prioritizing exercise influence over to affect the subsequent design project, selection of the first several constructed as a research example. In the second stage is expert experience and data collection, the main areas of panel practical experience in the design and rule, included in previous LCD module specifications information、design problem resolution, solution and experimental methods. Will then be used CBR, define the product characteristic of property、determine the index condition and weight distribution. And practical experience, through the CBR-Works software, develop a mechanism design system with CBR.The system verification will take 15” module samples target case and the case base case calculations than, after by manual calculation contrast system to calculate obtained the similar value, In this research, system calculation overall accuracy of the 94%. So this research build the expert system and experimental verification method is holds.
