Hans Robert Jauss, and Walfangg Iser are the two major theorists. They individually advances their viewpoints, such as ‘expected vision’, and the ‘blank of texts’, which reverses from the tradition of author-centered and text-centered to reader-centered. The body of poetry has played the important role, which is necessary to take poetry as the main literary style, and develop the receptional history in the history of Chinses literature. Lu You belongs to one of the influential poets in Nan Song Dynasty. He can both master the style of poems, and essays. Therefore, this dissertation bases on the theory of Western Aesthetic of Reception to use various Chinese poetic materials, and develop the receptional history study of Lu You poetry. This dissertation implements the methodology of ‘three dimensional structure’, which divides into three levels: ‘the study of effect history’, ‘the study of interpretation history’, and ‘the study of influential history’. In the first level, the researcher initially organizes the printed versions of Lu You poetry collection to ensure the existence and trend of texts. Secondly, the researcher further analyzes quantitatively to compile the statistics, which Lu You poetry has been collected by the following poetry works. As the result, the researcher could also present the spread and acception phenomena of Lu You poetry in the following dynasties. In the second level, the researcher analyzes and generalizes the following poetry critical materials, such as “Shi Hua”, “Ci Hua”, “Bi Ji”, “Ci Ji Xu Ba”, “Ci Zuo Ping Dian Zi Liao”, “Lun Ci Jue Ju”, and “Lun Ci Chang Duan Ju”. In the third level, the researcher collects the following works, such as “Han Yun”, “Fang Ni”, and “Ji Ju”, which have been influenced by Lu You poetry, to investigate the acception phenomena among descendants. The completion of the classics would be produced by long and complex space-time background. Therefore, the study of literature should not be restricted by single dynasty, or one-dimentional author, and text. Instead, the researcher eyes on reader-centered perspective to build the completed study, and ensure the classic status and value of Lu You poetry in the history of poetry.
