Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 財務金融研究所 === 100 === The purpose of this paper is to examine whether the value-relevance of Taiwanese supply chain is affected by the disclosure order backlog (OB) information of the manufacturing industry in the United States. We develop a multivariate regression model to discuss the relationship between order backlog information on U.S. firms and the market value of the Taiwanese industry’s upstream component supply chain. From this research, the regression analysis showed that the high-growth annual changes in unfilled orders for manufactured goods in U.S. firms lead to higher stock prices for supply chains in Taiwan. That is, it might be helpful to assess the market value of Taiwan supply chain while the information on firms’ order backlog of U.S. manufacturing was revealed.
