Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 資訊工程學系碩博士班 === 100 === Showing high dynamic range images on general displayers whose dynamic ranges are relatively low will result in images with undesirable artifacts like underexposure or overexposure. To display images without unwanted artifacts, tone mapping is adopted before showing the images. Tone mapping is the process of mapping a high dynamic range to a low dynamic range. A Retinex-based tone mapping method is proposed in this thesis. In the smoothing process, both luminance and illumination are used to calculate the weight for smooth filter. In the mapping process, we adopt an efficient gamma correction module and the adaptive logarithmic mapping function based on the concepts proposed by Drago [4]. Compared with those previous methods, the proposed method produces images with higher contrast and richer details.
