The insurance salesman to sell products which is closely related to the people, therefore the quality of the service will affect its performance. The scholars pointed out, psychological empowerment is the best solution for the problem of poor service and the inefficiency (Bowen & Lawler, 1992). Employees feel the extent of authority given is so called “psychological empowerment”. Nowadays, coaching skills have been taken and using by many enterprises. The coaching ability to multinational corporations has become a necessary ability to a professional manager (Kuang, 2007). Whether the employees perceived the managerial coaching or the psychological empowerment will help them to have more job involvement or not? This’s the topical subject for this research. In this study, the insurance salesman as the object of study, to investigate the correlation among coaching skills, psychological empowerment and job involvement. Research questionnaires through the internet and paper distribution, recycling 401 copies of questionnaires for the study results are as follows: 1. The managerial coaching skill has positive correlation on psychological empowerment. The more managerialcoaching skill that employees perceived, the higher degree of psychological empowerment he/she improved. 2. The managerial coaching skill has positive correlation on job involvement. The more managerial coaching skill that employees perceived, the higher degree of job involvement he/she achieved. 3. The psychological empowerment has positive correlation on job involvement. The higher psychological empowermentthat employees perceived, the higher degree of job involvement he/she achieved. 4. Employees’ psychological empowerment has mediation effect between awareness of the high level managerial coaching and job involvement. When the employees perceived the managerial coaching, the higher psychological empowerment that employees perceived, the higher degree of job involvement he/she achieved. In this study, if the insurance industry wants to increase their staff’s job involvement, could start from raising psychological empowerment. For future studies on the related research, we suggest job involvement as an intervening variable and to explore the correlation between the insurance salesman work wish and coaching skills.
