Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among personality traits, achievement goal and competition performance of National High School Industry Skill Competitors. Questionnaire survey was employed in this research. The samples were excellent competitors of National High School Industry Skill Competition in 2011. There were 366 questionnaires sent out, and 290 questionnaires were valid ones. The effective questionnaire rate was 79.23%. After statistical analysis, the results were as follows: 1. The personality traits of National High School Industry Skill Competitors were mainly high agreeableness and low neuroticism. The achievement goal were mainly high mastery-approach and low mastery-avoidance. 2. There were significant differences in the competitors’ personality in terms of the parenting styles. And different school locations of competitors were apparently different in agreeableness personality. 3. There were significant differences in the competitors’ performance-avoidance goal because the school was public or not. 4. When the competitors’ personalities were extraversion, opennss, agreeableness and conscientiousness, there were positive effect on their mastery-approach goal. And there were negative effect on their mastery-avoidance goal. When the competitors’ personalities were extraversion and opennss, there were positive effects on their performance-approach goal. Based on the results stated above, suggestions are given to the teaching, training and future study for reference.
