Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 地理學系 === 100 === The study aimed at the spatial cognition of special education students at a junior high school. A junior high school was choosen to be the subject of the research, explore the following three questions: 1.How about the spatial cognition of special education students at a junior high school. 2.Different background variables of special education students would be treated as variables to discuss the differences between them. 3.Normal students were the control group for the purpose of comparing the differences between the normal and special education students. The research to be directed against the spatial cognition was evaluated by test-based assessment which involves distance, shape of vertical view, area measurement , scale, location, and direction conceptions. The results were analyzed through methods including descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and interview. According to the analysis of the date, the major findings were made as follows: 1.The spatial cognition of special education students showed that their conceptions of shape of vertical view, and location are relatively better, secondly were the conceptions of distance and direction, area measurement and scale conceptions were the weakest. 2.The spatial cognition of special education students which different grade , different transport to school and different kind of disability make no difference to the spatial cognition. But The spatial cognition of special education students which different family background was obviously different at area measurement conception, other conceptions make no difference. 3.The spatial cognition of normal students was obviously superior to that of special education students.
