This study was to investigate the A study at the relationship between the ecology and eachers' practice at junion high schools, and different background variables (gender, age, marriage, work experience, school duties, school size, geographic location), junior high school teachers to school secology and teachers' professional practice differences.
In this study, junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung. "Junior high school ecology and teacher professional practice related questionnaire as a tool to study a total of 385 questionnaires sent, recovery of the effective sample of 337. The questionnaire collected data by using descriptive statistics, t-test, single factor analysis of variance, Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression statistical method to analyze processing.
The result of this research show as follow:
A. Junior high school teachers belong to the level of perceptions of overall school ecology and overall professional practice, in sequence to the "interpersonal harmony", "professional identity" the highest perceptions of attainment levels.
B. Different background variables above age, years of service, school duties of teachers in the overall school ecology and overall professional practice level has a significant difference, the age of 51 years (including) or more service years owned for 26 years (including) above, as a teacher and chief director ofhigher teachers' perceptions or full-time teachers in the school office.
C. School of ecology and the overall level of professional practice and part of the sub-level with a positive moderate correlation.
D. "Inter-personal harmony" layered face of the overall level of teachers' professional practice with the sub-levels are the best predictive power.
Finally, according to the findings put forward specific proposals to provide school authorities, teachers, and relevant administrative organs, and follow-up researchers as a reference.
