Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 輔導與諮商學系研究所 === 100 === This study aims to probe into current situations of elementary school senior grade students’ parenting, parent-child relationship and life adaption. It further compares the difference of those with different background variables, and explores the relationship among the students’ parenting, parent-child relationship and life adaption. This study treated fifth and sixth grade elementary students in Chiayi City, Chiayi County and Yunlin County as the subjects. Data obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation using SPSS. According to the research results, the main findings are shown below: 1. Elementary school senior grade students’ perception of parent-child relationship is positive and the degree is medium and high. 2. Elementary school senior grade students’ adaption is medium and high degree and positive. 3. Elementary school senior grade students of different genders reveal a significant difference regarding some dimensions of parent-child relationship. 4. Elementary school senior grade students of different genders reveal a significant difference regarding some dimensions of life adaption. 5. Elementary school senior grade students of different grades do not show significant difference regarding parent-child relationship. 6. Elementary school senior grade students of different grades reveal a significant difference regarding life adaption. 7. Elementary school senior grade students of different birth orders do not show significant difference regarding parent-child relationship. 8. Elementary school senior grade students of different birth orders reveal a significant difference regarding life adaption. 9. Elementary school senior grade students with different father parenting reveal a significant difference regarding life adaption. 10. Most of the students have father parenting as “authoritative” and most of them have mother parenting as “authoritative”. 11. Elementary school senior grade students with different mother parenting reveal a significant difference regarding life adaption. 12. There is a significant and positive correlation between elementary school senior grade students’ parent-child relationship and life adaption.
