A teacher’s teaching belief plays an important role and it effects his/her decision of teaching and curriculum development. This research is to concern high school English teacher’s teaching belief in Schiro’s view. The result of this research is, 1. Teacher’s teaching belief could be plural in different stage. 2. It is possible that teacher agree more than one ideology in the same stage. 3. Teaching belief is effected by environment. That includes such as time limit, schedule and social association. 4. Cultural and environment differences make different teaching believes. 5. Teacher’s job and role makes different teaching belief, and there’s no absolute relationship between teaching belief and teaching practice. Keywords: teaching belief, belief, ideology, Schiro
