Li-Hung Huang Department of Education National Chiayi University Abstract This research endeavors to examine the relationships of principal’s positive leadership, school’s organizational health, teacher’s psychological capital, and organizational commitment. This research examines the inter-level effects, which include the effects of individual factors, and the collective effects on the four individual factors. Hierarchical Linear Model was adopted for the analyses. A self-developed questionnaire—Questionnaire for Examining Principal’s Positive Leadership, School Organizational Health, Teacher’s Psychological Capital, and Organizational Commitment was administered to 1730 elementary school teachers from 168 schools. Of which, 1388 (80.23%) elementary school teachers from 143 schools were retrieved, and 1283 (92.44%)were valid for analyses. The research results are as follows: 1.Construct the relationship of principal’s positive leadership, school’s organizational health, teacher’s psychological capital, and organizational commitment for Hierarchical Linear Model. 2.Teachers perceived that Positive Organizational Atmosphere influenced Teachers’ 3.Psychological Capital significantly. 4.Teachers perceived that Organizational Integrity and Students’ Academic Achievements emphases also significantly influenced Teachers’Psychological Capital. 5.Teachers perceived that Positive Organizational Atmosphere influenced Teachers’Organizational Commitment significantly. 6.Teachers perceived that Organizational Integrity, Collegial Leadership, Teachers’Coherence,and Students’ Academic Achievement Emphases influenced Teachers’ Organizational Commitment significantly. 7.Teachers perceived that Teachers’ Expectation and Persistence influenced Teachers’Organizational Commitment significantly. 8.Principal’s Overall Positive Leadership did not significantly effected Teachers’Psychological Capital. 9.School’s Overall Organizational Health did not significantly effected Teachers’Psychological Capital. 10.The Positive Meaning of Principal’s Positive Leadership influenced Teachers’ Effort Commitment significantly. 11.Organizational Integrity influenced Teachers’Value Commitment significantly.
