Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 視覺藝術研究所 === 100 === This research aims to understand the personal acting works, creation idea and issues of contemporary body from 2010 to 2011. By applying body action to wrap daily electric equipments for displaying images of body alienation, the work concerns the situation of body which is the result of interaction among body in contemporary era, electrical appliances and society of nowadays. Furthermore by conducting the research methods of psychoanalysis and sociology, it is the hope of this research to draw more thorough theory context. This research is divided into the following four sections: Section One is theorized analysis. By adopting “Mirror Stage” of Jacques Lacan and the Other Theory of E. Levinas, this research explores the way of self-construals influenced by modern science and technology. Furthermore, the capitalistic “Reification” of Georg Lukacsto helps to bring more comprehensive understanding that modern science and technology is the extension of human consciousness and the senses, and it finally leads to the alienation relationship that the main body is contrarily dominated. Section two firstly illustrates the electric equipments influences physical and mental effects with multiple meanings. It produces the creation idea of the flat body and alienation. The creation form and process will be also explained at this section. Section Three conducts case studies of two series of works, “Degenerate Integrity” of no-information electric equipments and “Paralyzed Joy” of information electric equipments, for further individual analysis. Section four draws the conclusion of this research and other following issues.
