Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 課程設計與潛能開發學系 === 100 === This research is based on the theory of Instructional Systematic Design (ISD) to develop curriculum integrating multimedia into college English teaching, and to further explore the outcomes of the students’ English learning motivation and achievement. This experiment adopted a quasi-experimental design and the experimental subjects were composed of the students whose major is not English. The experimental group received the training of learning with integrating multimedia and the major teaching materials were designed by the investigator. The teaching material was divided into four units and delivered to the experimental group. The control group was taught with traditional teaching mode. Moreover, the pre-test and post-test evaluations, English learning motivational orientation scale and students worksheets were analyzed to see if the curriculum had influenced in students outcome. The major findings are described as below: 1. The teaching benefits could be significantly improved via the course developed by ISD model. 2. Students’ English learning motivation could be significantly improved via integrating multimedia into English teaching. 3. Students’ English learning achievement could be significantly improved via integrating multimedia into English teaching. 4. The students in experimental group showed positive attitude via the course designed by ISD model. Based on the findings, the research provides suggestions to both college teachers and researches.
