The study examines the Unit Root Test, Cointegration Test, Vector Autoregression Model (VAR) and Granger Causality Test. The results show that Taiwan has negative unidirectional relationship running from economic growth to defense expenditure, and positive unidirectional relationship running from unemployment to economic growth.
