Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄海洋科技大學 === 造船及海洋工程研究所 === 100 === Nowadays, fighting for the better trading profit and efficiency of the container ships, the body of the ship therefore has been expanded so as to increase the loading. Consequently, the high-curvature side of the bow flare design is applied to reduce the notion of the ship being beneath of the waterline. However, the changeable waves and climate at sea may induce some impact on this kind of designed hull. This current study then aims to explore the underlying factors, which induce the impact on the high-curvature design. The ship sample model is utilized in this study, meanwhile, acceleration sensor, pressure sensor, particle image velocimetry and the observing system on the water flow field、simultaneous measurement of the impact on the model are also set up in this experiment. Since the deformation of the structure of the container ships is more complex in terms of its three-dimensional shape of the bow, strip theory thus is adopted to extend the ship with two-dimensional vessel block. Taking every possible variable into consideration, this research provides the data with high quality and stability for the future references on the high-curvature hull design.
