Corresponsively, display dashboards of vehicle also enter the era of digitization. The dashboard design has changed due to the utility of energy system that will affect the information structure of the dashboard and the legibility of drivers. In this research the legibility of relevant elements of digital dashboard for hybrid cars digital dashboard is studied. Currently, there are many different design on the digital dashboard on the market. We first collect and classify some sample dashboards analyze the overall layout and the dimensions of information. Then, product the questionnaire for the information about different degree of importance. Finally, carry out the subjective awareness survey of dashboard design and layout in accordance with the analytic results. In addition, we apply the fuzzy theory to express the perception of the degree for each subject, and give the conclusions, speedometer is the most important information consistently, the engine tachometer had been replaced by driving mode display table, information of electricity and kinetic energy of the driving mode are more important than the water temperature gauge and oil gauge, collocating digital and configuration of the pointer is the way of identification in two layouts, the size ratio of the first and second priority information is 3:1, the size of the important information is better to be about 1/4 of the overall layout, the color selection should be bright with high contrast color, and the most preference one is white with black background.
