Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 應用日語研究所 === 100 === Originally have I gotten great interest in children’s literature; since I started to learn Japanese, it becomes a different story. Once, I occasionally read a book named Madogiwa no Totto-chan, composed by Kuroyanagi Tetsuko, I discovered that the vocabularies of the translation are often in different usage according to various translation versions. Although lacked of inadequate Japanese ability at that time, I have kept it in mind and wish to solve this puzzle in the future. After the identification of this question, I mainly suggest that the reason is based on the ability of translation as well as the precise usage of bilingual dictionaries. Moreover, according to different culture and its historical background, it might cause difficulties and short information for understanding. In fact, messages of a book are largely associated to its translation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the word “laughter” in both languages (i.e. Japanese and Chinese) as well as relative translation key words in the composition Madogiwa no Totto-chan. Chapter one contains research introduction and methodology; Chapter three analyzes concretely “laughter” in the form of vocabulary and meaning; Chapter four focuses on the actuality in analysis, findings, and conclusion. The greatest effort is to combine wording delivery tool and linguistic research in applying translation correctly and practically.
