Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 電子工程研究所 === 100 === This thesis presents the design and implementation of an advanced LED head light with adaptive-front-lighting feature. Even though the advanced LED head light is just only constructed by a Sepic converter, it can drive LED head light under different power demands precisely. The configuration of the control for the LED driver mainly contains two blocks, a voltage regulation unit and a current control unit, which are controlled by individual Microchip MCU. The voltage regulation unit is in charge of regulating the output voltage of the Sepic converter while the current control unit determines the magnitude for each LED string. As a result, the AFS feature can be completed and high performance is readily achieved. In this thesis, an LED by-pass circuit is developed to provide a current path for fault LED. In addition, a marketable AFS LED head light is carried out. Some key waveforms and practical measurements have demonstrated the validity and the feasibility of the proposed adaptive-front-lighting system. For commercialization, a series of experiments, such as LED ON/OFF test, environmental test, protection test, and burning test, are also accomplished to verify that the advanced head light can meet market requirements.
