This paper demonstrates how to import desktop virtualization technologies and platforms in the campus, Contains the host virtualization, storage virtualization, desktop virtualization. Not only the volume of the entity host software license number of significantly reduced, can provide even more additional school administrative information services. In addition, the use of these new technologies, on the one hand, to simplify the management model to improve overall operational costs, and create a new campus IT environment.
This paper will actually build desktop virtualization platform as an example in National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology , the VMware view platform testing performance, and share these experiences in a variety of virtualization technology.
