Currently, surgical LED lights feature a projective design. LEDs have stronger luminous direction than do traditional light sources, leading to the original reflector of the surface, causing poor results. In addition, their reflective surface is difficult to design. Therefore, reflective LED surgical light product is very rare on the global market. This study used IEC specification 60601-2-41:2000 to design the reflective surface for LED-emitting type. We used two types of simulation results for this study: single module and multi-modules. Regarding the single module part, it reached an outside diameter of Ø120 mm, a circle of the target light shape to Ø150 mm, and the maximum central illuminance was greater than 20,000 lux. Within the Ø470 mm circular range, the multi-module reached the specification maximum central illumination of 40,000 to 160,000 lux. The results were that only nine 5 W single modules were required, and there was an energy saving of 70% with tradition lights of 150 W consumption. Chi-Chang Hsieh 謝其昌 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 84 zh-TW
