碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 成人教育研究所 === 100 === Abstract This research aims to explore and analyze the level of operation on the Parents’ Association of junior high schools in Kaohsiung City, not only try to outline the functions and organization of the parents’ associations but also to establish the efficiency of the parents’ associations by “ Balanced Scorecard” Questionnaires were given out to members of the Parents’ associations in all junior high schools in Kaohsiung City, like Fengshan, Gangshan and Chishan, etc. and they were used as samples for the study. The final sample consists of 180 Parents’ association members, who were invited to participate in a questionnaire survey by random . As a result, 169 questionnaires were returned, yielding a return rate of 94%. The primary method used in this research is a self-innovated Scale to measure efficiency of Parents’associations”questionnaire;information processing – itemized analysis, trust, and analysis of level of efficiency. The returned questionnaires were then subjected under the test of SPSS12.0 for descriptive statistics analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of the analyses are then further discussed in the latter sections. The four following results have been derived from the studies. 1. When the targets of the efficiency of the Parents’ Association on the level of operation of Parents’ Associations, concept and recognition of balanced- scorecard were built by “ Balanced Scorecard”, the results are consistent although they are affected by different context variables . 2.Level of operation on Parents’ Associations comprise of “Common goal and plan”, “Compliance with self-autonomy regulations”, “Completion of duties of Parents’ Associations” and “Participation in school affairs and functions” with reasonable results, and this shows that parents’ participation in school affairs and functions is raised. 3. Parents’ Associations comprising of “Future &; Mission”, “Growth &; and Learning”, “Internal Uniformity”, “Importance &; Development of Resources” reveal the relevance and acceptance in various aspects. 4. Parents’ Associations are analyzed and classified, unanimously agree with developing their performance model with BSC to establish parents’ associations efficiency to achieve its management policy.
