With the influence of continuously prosperous economy, the development of children education market has grown greatly these years. Meanwhile, the operation and development of the franchised children education industry in Taiwan have been also prone to be solid and mature through the efforts made by the headquarters of the franchised institutions. How to upgrade competitive advantages has become imperative for the institutions, and the way to maintain such advantages is to acquire excellent man power, human capital. The key factor of intellectual capital is to construct professional competency and to handle knowledge management and knowledge transfer well. This study will explore the impacts of knowledge management, knowledge transfer, and professional competency on human capital in the point of view of cram school staff.
This research takes cram school staff as study subjects. Totally 120 questionnaires were given out, and 100 valid questionnaires were returned. Targeting on this sample, data descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, internal consistency tests, Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient, and regression analysis of statistical methods. As a result, the empirical analysis indicates that:
1. Franchisees intellectual capital has significantly positive impacts on franchisers knowledge transfer.
2. Franchisers knowledge transfer has significantly positive impacts on managing performance.
3. Franchisees intellectual capital through knowledge transfer as an intermediary has significantly positive effects on professional competency.
