Abstract The purpose of this study is to discuss the relationship among female elementary school teachers' perception of spousal paternal involvement, parenting stress and well-being, and their current situation in Kaohsiung. The subjects in the study are female elementary school teachers in the school year of 100 whose children's educational levels are on or below senior high and senior vocational schools. Based on population chosen from Multi-stage cluster sampling. There are 45 schools of different scales was picked In this study, a total of 545 subjects were issued and effective ones are 502.The respondent questionnaire about sheet of perception of spousal paternal involvement, parenting stress and well-being were administered with T-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation and step wise regression as analysis tools. The results are shown as the following: 1.The score level of the female elementary school teachers' perception of spousal paternal involvement is above medium, and " maintenance need for survival" got the highest score. 2.The score level of the parenting stress of the female elementary school teachers is below medium, and" barrier between couples" got the highest score. 3.The score level of well-being of the female elementary school teachers is above medium, and" social relationship" got the highest score. 4.The factors such as age, job title, the number of children, family life cycle and age at marriage of the female elementary teachers were significant difference in overall level and some aspects of perception of spousal paternal involvement. 5.The factors such as age, family life cycle, level of education and age at marriage of the female elementary teachers were significant in "parent-child interaction dysfunction " of parenting stress. 6.Perceived spouses' paternal involvement and parenting stress of the female elementary school teachers is significant negative correlated. 7.Perception of spousal paternal involvement and well-being of the female elementary school teachers is significant positive correlated. 8.Parenting stress and well-being of the female elementary school teachers is significant negative correlated. 9.The perception of spousal paternal involvement and parenting stress of female teachers in elementary schools has the function of prediction for the well-being. According to the results, the research will provide relevant recommendations for the female elementary school teachers, their spouses and family, schools, the educational authorities and the future researchers.
