The study adopted a questionnaire method. The 989 participants were the second graders from junior high schools of Kaohsiung City . The collected data was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regressions. The results derived from the study were as follows: 1.The current status of school reading environment and class environment was not good; that of students’ reading behaviors was poor. 2.In terms of mother’s job, school location, and scale of the school, there existed significant differences in students’ perceptive school reading environment. 3.In terms of gender, mother’s job, school location, and scale of the school, there existed significant differences in students’ perceptive class reading environment. 4.In terms of gender, father’s educational level, mother’s educational level, mother’s job, and scale of the school, there existed significant differences in students’ reading behaviors. 5.There existed significant positive correlations among school reading environment, class reading environment, and students’ reading behaviors. 6.School reading environment and class reading environment could highly predict students’ reading behaviors. Based on the results above, some suggestions for administrative organizations, schools, teachers, and further research were provided and discussed. 鍾蔚起博士 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 180 zh-TW
