This study focuses on social-worker in Macau. 200 questionnaires were sent out, 180 questionnaires were returned, and 150 questionnaires were effective. Then the data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, Pearson Correlation Analysis and one-way-ANOVA analysis.   The results and findings of this research are as follows: 1. Training needs of social-worker do not vary from the variables of different background . 2. In the variables of different background to job satisfaction, the location of graduate school and years of work experience are found significant difference, other variables are not found. 3. Training needs and job satisfaction are positively correlated for social-worker.   This study provides several recommendations to promote the development of social workers’ training in Macau as a guideline direction: to establish the role definition of social workers, to complete the legislation of “Regime de Credenciação dos Assistentes Sociais”, to provide the training mechanism, to increase training more practical and diversified, to encourage social workers to participate in training and to set up complementary measures.
