Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 體育學系 === 100 === This study targeted to not only explore Kaohsiung municipal elementary and junior high school in aboriginal area teachers' work pressure and the intention to participate in exercising but also discussed the variations of work pressure and personal background. A questionnaire survey was administered using the Kaohsiung municipal elementary and junior high school teachers in aboriginal area as subjects. Data were collected from 144 teachers of elementary and junior high school in Kaohsiung aboriginal area and 144 effective surveys to the questionnaires were analyzed with the methods of descriptive statistics, Hotelling t, one-way MANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. The conclusions of this study were as follows: 1. The work pressure of Kaohsiung municipal elementary and junior high school teachers in aboriginal area was above average. 2. The intention to participate in exercising of Kaohsiung municipal elementary and junior high school teachers in aboriginal area was low. 3. There was no significant difference in the wok pressure by genders and marital status. The age, seniority and the position of Kaohsiung municipal elementary and junior high school teacher in aboriginal area had an impact on their wok pressure. 4. The work pressure and the intention to participate in exercising of Kaohsiung municipal elementary and junior high school teacher in aboriginal area were negative correlated. In other words, it showed that the higher the work pressure, the lower the intention to participate in exercising and vice versa. Finally, based on research results, the suggestions of this study were hoping that these suggestions can be of referential value as far as educational administration research.
