| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 視覺傳達設計研究所 === 100 === As time progresses, our life is surrounded by the social disorder, the criminal problems and the international wars which never seem to be decrease. In this society, we cannot help to introspection: what's wrong with our world? In the postmodern society with the complex culture, we can only try to contribute for the society is thinking about the positive and negative factors of wars, the achievement of protective peace, and the mutually competing social culture of hope and despair.
The research discusses about visual symbols of post modernism applied on poster design. There are three main theories based on: Post modernism theory, symbols theory, and the concept of poster. Through the collection of the relative information categorizes the collation of the creative examples, and the analysis of the awarded works of designers to conduct a new creative method. I hope these posters could let people introspect and perceive the peace and war, it is the most important spirit of the postmodern society.
