These complexes could be used as catalysts to directly transform aromatic hydrocarbons into aldehydes with very high conversion yield and throughput. The turnovers of the catalytic cycle using these kinds of catalyst are quite high, up to 4000 within 6 hours at low temperature atmospheric pressure.
