Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 體育學系 === 100 === The Correlation between Fun of Exercise and Sources of Academic Pressure among Pingtung County Elementary School Students Participating in Folk Sports Art Performance Troupes Abstract The primary purpose of this study was to investigate the differences and correlation between the fun of exercise and sources of academic pressure among elementary school students in Pingtung County who participated in folk sports art performance troupes with different background variables. The research participants consisted of students enrolled in elementary schools in Pingtung County that promoted folk sports art performance troupes in the Academic Year 2011, totaling 11 schools and 203 students. An investigation was conducted using a questionnaire on the fun of exercise and sources of academic pressure among elementary school students in Pingtung County who participated in folk sports art performance troupes. Data were then processed and analyzed based on the valid questionnaires by means of statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, one-way multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), Pearson product-moment correlation and canonical correlation. The following results were obtained: 1. Differences in fun of exercise among elementary school students in Pingtung County who participated in folk sports art performance troupes with different background variables (1) Grade years: Significant differences were observed in the five factors, which were peer relationships, exercise atmosphere, exercise capacity, benefits of exercise and competition achievements. (2) Events participated: The differences in the abovementioned five factors did not reach significance. (3) Reasons for participation: The differences in the abovementioned five factors reached significance. (4) Competition experiences: The differences in the abovementioned five factors did not reach significance. 2. Differences in sources of academic pressure among elementary school students in Pingtung County who participated in folk sports art performance troupes with different background variables (1) Grade years: Significant differences were observed in the three factors, which were individual, school and family. (2) Events participated: The differences in the abovementioned three factors did not reach significance. (3) Reasons for participation: The differences in the abovementioned three factors did not reach significance. (4) Competition experiences: The differences in the abovementioned three factors did not reach significance. 3. Academic pressure can be effectively predicted from the fun of exercise, with 90.5% of the variance explained. Lastly, suggestions were proposed based on the research results to provide a reference for school staff related to art performance troupes and parents in terms of operation and development.
