Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 體育學系 === 100 === The main purpose of this study was to discuss the divergence and relevance in social support and sport participation motivations for the elementary school dodgebee teams in Pintung County from different backgrounds. The study object was chosen from 4th- 5th- and 6th-grade dodgebee players in Pintung County who implemented dodgebee for one year and took part in competition. An investigation was conducted using a questionnaire on the Social Supports and Participation movitations for the elementary school dodgebee players.Valid questionnaires were analyzed with One-way MANOVA, Scheffe’s method, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and canonical correlation analysis. The divergence in various background variables in the four structure factors of Social Supports and the five structure factors of Participation Movitations was discussed. The significant level for this study was less than .05. The results are as follows: 1. In comparing the divergence of social supports, players in different sex reached statistical significant differences in factors the support of teachers, players in different grade reached statistical significant differences in factors the support of teammates and the support of coaches. Players to be aboriginal or not reached statistical significant differences in factors the support of teammates, the support of teachers, the support of parents, and the support of coaches. Players in different length of time joined the team, and performance achievement did not reach statistical significant differences. 2. In comparing the divergence of sport participation motivations, players in different grade reached statistical significant differences in factors health-related fitness, achievement needs, amd technique needs. Players in aboriginal or not reached statistical significant differences in factors health-related fitness, achievement needs, social needs, and technique needs. Players with different performance achievement reached statistical significant differences in factors health-related fitness, and achievement needs. Players in different sex, and length of time joined the team did not reach statistical significant differences. 3. The Social supports and Sport Participation Motivations for the elementary school dodgebee players in Pintung County have reached positive correlation. Through Canonical Correlation, the lower the social supports are, the less the sports participation motivation is. The higher the support of coaches grow, the stronger the technique needs are.
