This study chose survey method. The tool sued was “The Questionnaire of Pingtung County Elementary School Teachers’ work values and developments in specialized filed” developed by the researcher. The study subjects were teachers of elementary schools in Pingtung County. The study sample is through stratified random sampling .The effective samples are 518 in total. According to the result of the questionnaires, the following conclusions were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way variance of analysis, Person’s product-moment correlation method, and the regression analysis in multiple steps. Conclusions are as follows: 1. Elementary school teachers in Pingtung County generally have excellent attitude toward work values, especially in “Self-growth”. 2. Elementary school teachers in Pingtung County generally have excellent developments in specialized filed ,especially in “Professionalism” 3. The directors of elementary school, teachers in small schools and senior teachers perform higher in work values than others. 4. Directors, teachers in small schools or with bachelor degrees (including 40 credit points) perform higher in specialized filed than others. 5. The higher performance in work values the better developments in specialized filed 6. Elementary school teachers’ self-growths in work values have profound influence on the whole developments in specialized filed The conclusions above have the following implications 1.
