More and more veterinary curing institute established rapidly. But it is lack of complete information system which support on animal health management. The Protected Wildlife adoption center in my school is using only written form as the manner to record the clinical examination data, it can't observe the trend and diagnosis the complication of wildlife’s physical condition directly. In this paper, we use the Data Mining technology to analyze the clinical records, the system not only provides veterinarian diverse and comprehensive information of the clinical diagnosis and treatment, but also allows to reduce the incidence of complications and improve the quality of care. This paper has designed and implemented an Animal Clinical Diagnosis Support System which includes (1) Examined Records Analysis Module─The module analyzes and integrates all of the clinical data , and presented the trend in graphs. The module improves the integrity and the accessibility of data, it help veterinarians observe the variation trend and inquiry all of examined data promptly; (2) Symptoms Relation Analysis Module─The module uses the association rule to analyze and compare examined data to find out the potential relation of the symptoms. It also provides previous and current association rule between symptoms and drug manner that helps veterinarian effectively control wildlife’s symptoms with the drug treatment; (3) Comparison Warning Analysis Module─The module compares the clinical examination data with the standard range and determines the data whether belong to the extraordinary value. When system has detected the extraordinary value, it can provide warning to veterinarians. This function can help veterinarian to monitor wildlife’s physical condition and reduce possibility of the risk factors exceeded the standard range. The system has been tested and used via veterinarian repeatedly and also investigated of user’s satisfaction for achieve practicability and effectively.
