Participants consisted of 813 college students from Taiwan. The instruments applied in this study included the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (MPS), the Dispositional Flow Scale (DFS), and the Psychological Well-being Scale (PWB). The research data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, t-test, one way MANOVA, one-way ANOVA, and structural equation modeling (SEM). The main results revealed that: 1. The Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale, Dispositional Flow Scale, and Psychological Well-being Scale showed good reliability and validity. 2. Concerning gender difference among the MPS, the DFS, and thePWB: (1) As to perfectionism, male college students’ scores on “maladaptive evaluation concerns” were significantly higher than that of female college students, while there were no significant gender differences on “positive striving”. (2) As to flow disposition, there were no gender significant differences. (3) As to psychological well-being, female college students’ scores were significantly higher than that of male college students. 3. The analytical results of structural equation models were as follows: (1) The negative influence of maladaptive evaluation concerns on psychological well-being is significant, and flow disposition mediated the relationship between maladaptive evaluation concerns and psychological well-being. (2) The positive influence of positive striving on psychological well-being is significant, and flow disposition mediated the relationship between positive striving and psychological well-being. (3) The positive influence of flow disposition on psychological well-being is significant. Based on the results of this study, some suggestions for college students , practitioners, and researchers are recommended. Yu, Sen-Chi 游森期 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 113 zh-TW
