Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 科技管理碩士班 === 100 === With the advance of technology in telecommunication network, software for smartphone such as app makes it possible to execute functions that used to work only in computers. As school information systems play as a crucial element for school maintenance and efficiency, it becomes quite common academically. This paper, therefore, integrates the basics of the theories from Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the Compatibility of Innovation Diffusion Theory and Smartphone Self-Efficacy to investigate the effect of the users’ smartphone self-efficacy, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on their use intention, from the perspective of smartphone interface, by taking the students and the teachers of A University as the subjects of the study. The result of the study indicates that the students and the teachers both feel positive in the area of smartphone self-efficacy, perceived ease of use on their use intention when using school information systems in smartphone. Further, perceived ease of use from the students and the teachers towards perceived usefulness, and their perceived usefulness towards their use intention also display obvious positive result. As regards to the students’ and the teachers’ smartphone self-efficacy when using app in smartphone for school information systems, perceived usefulness shows no significant result. Finally, this paper proposes some practical recommendations to the case University. In the meantime, the directions for future research suggestions are discussed.
