In this study, it was based on the teachers in 63 primary schools in Tainan City. The tool was a personally made questionnaire “The promotion of work plan - after-school assistance program.” There were 560 questionnaires given out, 516effective ones returned. The retrieved probability were 92.1. There were 499 effective questionnaire and the probability of the usable questionnaire were 96.7. The data gathered was conducted by computer software SPSS version 12.0. The statistics methods used were descriptive statistics,kai-square test, t-test, one-way ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), and other statistical methods. this study are as follows: 1. The teachers of the "work program - after-school assistance program" generally considered that the most suitable are serving teachers, and serving teachers to serve as instructor teachers ratio are also more, and voluntary teachers have the most. 2. The reason of being instructor teachers is to help students improve their achievement, and the reason of not being instructor teachers is that it will increase the workload. 3. The most commonly used teaching materials are personally made ones. There is a little help on teaching materials. 4. The main teaching item is based on remedy teaching; there are more individual teaching methods. 5. The implementation of this project time is every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon, after school (after four), mainly 3 to 4 classes per week, It has better learning when 2 classes each time. 6. The points of Tainan City Elementary School "work plan - after-school assistance program" are above the average. The "learning outcomes" and "relationships" have the highest score. 7. There is a positive correlation about “gender, years of service, duties and scale of the school”. Among the variables, the perception of male, serving years are more than five years, less than 10 years,small scale schools’ teachers are higher.
