Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 教育學系在職進修碩士班 === 100 === The research was aimed at exploring the comprehensive performance, learning satisfaction, difficulties and coping strategies of the vocational high school students who graduated from the special classes of technical education programs in junior high schools in New Taipei City, Taiwan, for further reference to education authority concerned and schools in executing the project of special classes of technical education. Data were collected through questionnaire, individual interviews, and focus group interviews. Self-assessment forms were administered to the second and third grade students in seven vocational high schools who graduated from the special classes of technical education programs in New Taipei City. A total of 245 forms were sent, and 184 returned, 173 valid. 8 students and 2 teachers were invited for further interview. Two focus group interviews were conducted as well. The following conclusions were achieved through the analysis of the data. Firstly, a well-executed application for the special classes by junior high schools could promote students’ comprehensive performance and learning satisfaction in vocational high schools. Secondly, a correct guidance for a student’s intention in taking a special class would be helpful for the student’s comprehensive performance and learning satisfaction in vocational high schools. Thirdly, teachers’ positive attitude towards the special class could initiate the student graduated from that class high comprehensive performance in vocational high schools. Fourthly, when the vocational high school in cooperation has abundant resources, students graduated from the special class would have high learning satisfaction in vocational high schools. Fifthly, when the orientation for the special class is comprehensive and accurate, the difficulties that the students encounter in vocational high school would be diminished. Sixthly, teaching students according to their aptitude is the coping strategy adopted by vocational high schools in overcoming students’ learning difficulties. Based on conclusions, some suggestions were made to the education authority concerned, junior high schools, vocational high schools, and students respectively, for the further reference in practicing the project of special class of technical education program.
