碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 民族音樂研究所 === 100 === The cellist and composer working in a recording studio Fan Tsung-pei, also called “genius of the score” in Taiwan, has had an impressive award records. This research recorded Fan’s live performances and compositions from 2010/10 to 2010/07. From gathering multimedia materials such as literature, multimedia recordings and music analysis, the writer collected a large number of concert recordings and interviews about this brilliant musician. For this documentary film about the research “Recording of a Crossover music master and a genius of the score: Fan Tsung-Pei.” the writer filmed Fan Tsung-pei’s music works in 2010-2011, especially recording his stories of “soundtrack creations” and “performances in public.” By literary reviewing, works analyzing, depth interviewing, music concert recording and filming, we could find out what Fan has done in his background music and crossover music productions. In addition, all concert recording files would be classified and digitized. Finally, the elements: texts, images and films, have been organized into a thesis and the documentary. Readers could understand Fan’s story in 2010-2011 by reading this thesis and watching the film of this research.
