The results of the survey will be provided to related educational authorities. The results are summarized below: 1.Cognition and attitudes of the students toward tsunami were no significant differences, thereby, there is nothing different on students’ cognition and attitudes toward tsunami between their gender. 2.Over 90% of the students have noticed the news reports about tsunami which attacked Japan in 11 March, 2011. And they exhibited an extensive cognition and a positive attitude towards tsunami. 3.About 60% of the students have done Tsunami evacuation drills, but that don’t improved their cognition and a positive attitude towards tsunami. 4.About 90% of the students got their knowledge of tsunami from television news or broadcast programs. About 75% of the students learned from school curriculum. 5.About 45% of the students didn’t understand the knowledge of the causes, phenomena and early warning of tsunami, need to be improved. 6.There is a significant positive correlation between cognition and the attitudes toward tsunami. In other words, the greater cognition of tsunami what students got, the more positive attitude of tsunami what they had. Key words:Primary school in Keelung, Tsunami, Cognition and attitudes.
