碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 環境生物與漁業科學學系 === 100 === The purpose of this study is to understand the cruise tourists’ recreational behaviors and the opinions towards tourism development in Keelung. The results will be provided for the tourism related units in Keelung City as references so that can be a great help to develop its tourism. The results are as followings: 1. In Keeling City, the proportion of consumption of cruise tourists at home and abroad is not optimistic nowadays, so it causes the lack of economic benefits. Most of the recreational spots are the streets around Miaokow, the Keelung harbors and the fishing ports, and the primary consumption is the dining business; however, the consuming amount is not high. Due the differences of countries and custom habits, the international cruise tourists’ consuming behaviors for souvenirs will be influenced. 2. The influential factors of cruise tourists’ recreation are the lack of tourism information, the unknown feature spots, the incompletion of equipments, the limited knowledge about Keelung City , and the shore trip purchased on board. 3. The drawbacks of developing an international cruise harbor city towards Keelung City are the large shopping malls, the famous department stores, and the five-star hotels as well. 4. Keelung tourism-related units all look forwards to its cruise tourism business and they are active in promoting the programs and constructions. 5. Beside the cruise tourists from Europe and the United States, some Asian tourists will choose the free and independent travel as well. The travel will be focused on Taipei and the famous spots around it, such as Yehliu, Chiufen, Jinguashin, and Keelung as well.
