| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 社會與區域發展學系碩士班 === 100 === This study aimed to research the live style adaptation capacity of Hong Kong and Macau overseas student, focused on the following topics, the personality traits relationship between Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan students, the live style adaptation capacity difference between the Hong Kong, Macau overseas student and other overseas student. In this study, the researcher used semi-structured depth interviews to collect data with respondents from ten Hong Kong and Macau overseas student.
The major findings of this study are Hong Kong and Macau overseas student mainly troubles on the adaptation of different interpersonal relationship and values with the Taiwan local students. Hong Kong and Macau overseas student who have openness personality traits and values are generally easier to adapt living in Taiwan. Also, economic capacity usually is the major problems of overseas student. However, there is no stressed and influence of economic adaptation problem for Hong Kong and Macau overseas student.
Finally, the recommendation would be provided for the overseas student, Taiwan local student, schools and social community based on the results of this study.
