By using the concept maps, this study adopted the method of content analysis to investigate the differences of the teaching objectives, the proportion of materials, the contexts and knowledge property of mathematic questions, and the manifestation of the concept. The results showed that: 1. The teaching objectives of the decimal multiplication in both textbooks were based on the curriculum guidelines of mathematics. But the statements were not the same, and the contents of teaching objectives were slightly different. 2. The mathematic textbooks of Beijing Normal University Edition displayed more teaching times on decimal multiplication, and that of Kang Hsuan Edition showed more questions of decimal multiplication. 3. As to the contexts and knowledge property of mathematic questions in the two editions, both of them were non-context, and showed more concept knowledge. 4. The manifestation of concept and the strategies used to solve the decimal multiplication questions in the two editions were different.
